2nd Interview w/ MD

Had a phone interview with an MD at a small MM firm that went very well. Now he wants to meet in office for an in-person interview. I was told the meeting would take about 2 hours.

What should I expect from this interview? I was already asked all the basic fit questions during the phone interview so I'm not sure what to expect.

Alright cool just wanted a little more high level color. I’ve had a superday with an IB team that does municipal/public finance in NYC back when I was in undergrad so hope this could help. If you have public finance experience or IB in general be prepared to just walk through your deals, models you used or even provide some context on drivers. They might even ask you how much of responsibility did you take on executing those deals. At that level they just want to know how comfortable you are hitting the ground running on day one. If you are fresh out of school (like I was) they might ask you general capital market questions like how do debt and equity capital market securitization offerings work? or walk me through the RFP pitching process. They love putting out market commentaries so be on the look out where you can add value there. They just want you to understand how these teams operate with a specialized arena in IB. Wishing you the best of luck man!

was this with a BB or boutique shop that does public finance? Do you have any insight on what to expect for BB pub fin summer analyst positions? Thanks for your insight
