4/8/25 guidance on the lateral market In 2026?

Figured with the CS bankers still relatively fresh in the market, as well as overstaffed investment banks laying off juniors, and overall decline in M&A volume relative to projections a few months ago, the market will still be flooded with high caliber talent going for extremely few lateral seats. Is this the sentiment still? I did a SA IB at a reputable MM and will be doing FT in B4 valuations, so I'm looking to get back in come mid 2026.
