i've heard a lot about SEO Does anyone know if they really do get internships for candidates at BB's....

Aspiring_Consultant is correct. From what I remember, SEO doesn't schedule surprise interviews in the way bigbilly2312 was describing.

Koleon, those accepted to SEO-Investment Banking (NY) are placed in Manhattan to intern for bulge bracket investment banks. I did the program this past summer and would be more than happy to provide any further insight.

I've been considering whether or not to apply to the SEO program. The issue for me is that I do not want to be placed into any bulge bracket. I am striving for GS or MS because I've spoken to many people there and I really seem to like it.

Considering the above, do you think it would be wise for me to apply for SEO or no if I was targeting 2 very specific BBs?

Thanks for the help, i was also wondering what the chances are of receiving a full time offer after getting completing summer internship at a bank though SEO. Is it the same as if you were to do a normal summer internship or do you have to apply all over again. Lastly, the website says you find out about the internship in may, is this true?
