AAAACCCHHHH....HELP!!!

Ok So I stupidly thought I could write a 5-page term paper on junk bonds in like 3 hours and pull off an A. And now I'm up shit's creek and I'm going to fail like everything....anyway this paper's for english (junk bonds is a relevant topic because we were doing yupppie-era stuff) and anyway I need help. So can all you ibanking gurus tell me a little something about junk bonds? I just need some interesting background info. I've been all over google and all I can get is current stuff...I need stuff from the 80's!!!! (and I'm desperately posting here even though I know most of us here weren't working in IBD in the 80's...but some of us know more about junk bonds than others) (I'll cite this topic)

And a more specific question: um which is the first firm ever in 1977 to underwrite a junk bond? I get Bear Stearns from some websites and Drexel Burnham from others....

THANKS!!!
