About to quit
Hi all, I am about to leave my current IB position (I did not have great fit with the institution) as I have secured an exit but am waiting for my bonus before I put in my notice. Has someone ever done that before and are there consequences of « slowing down » at work (eg 9 to 6 mode, my group does not do live deals, mostly marketing). By that I mean is there a risk that people would trash talk your work ethics? Many thanks
It’s common to leave after your bonus but it would be a good idea to work hard as if you haven’t / not going to resign in order to avoid any backlash during the reference check stage.
