Accidental Innuendo in IB Internship
Currently approaching the end of my IB internship at a bank I very much would like to return to. I feel like the summer has gone great so far, except for one thing:
Yesterday, an analyst who I had recently been staffed with was walking me through a model, and he was toggling the F2 and escape keys as one normally would. Except he was fingering the keys SUPER fast, like faster than I had ever seen. For context, I find this person super attractive. Looking at his fingers, I accidentally said “Damn” and smiled at him. I don’t think this was well received and I just want to move past it. Any advice?
You are way overthinking this. Forget about it and move on. Use it as a good reminder to think twice before you do/say anything
I disagree. At this rate, might as well double down and give him subtle complements here and there. We’re nearing the end of the summer and you’re going to need a guy who will go to bat for you at the return offer roundtable.
if you're a 7/10+ chick, you're good. If you're ugly or fat or a gay dude, just start FT recruiting
Either that or just start to compliment everyone’s fingers with statements like “damn” or “nice cuticles” when they type. Will throw them off the scent and they will just think you are good with an odd little fascination for fingers…no harm no foul.
curb reference
tbh i would get turned on too
