Accidentally hitting on coworker on dating app

To preface, since I have been working from home, I have never interacted with this person in real life, and have no idea what they look like aside from their little outlook/Skype image.

I was on a dating app (did not match with them) but sent them a message. About 10 minutes later I realized the person in question had the same name and job as my coworker. I honestly think it is the same person and I am an idiot.

Is this something I just need to hope she does not see and or ignores? Or what do I do in the situation given she sees it and responds will I get in trouble with HR?

Someone give me a sanity check please

I once matched with a work colleague by accident, no big deal. Given you’re not her senior, did it outside of work channels, didn’t say anything sexist/vulgar/non-PC and don’t continue chasing once she says no/doesn’t reply then you’re absolutely fine. But if in the event this does become a national scandal just move to Thailand and lay low for a few years until it blows over
