Addressing Transfer Status for Recruiting

Will be transferring from a semi-target to HYPSM as a sophomore transfer (will be starting sophomore year at the new school). I managed to get a 4.0 at my old school while doing a decent double major and was also involved in some finance clubs on campus that gave me modeling opportunities.

How should I approach my transfer status? Should I put my old school on my resume as well underneath my new school? Or should I outright omit it and put down a GPA for the new school as soon as I get one? I am concerned about not being able to list any clubs on my resume as well as being asked for a transcript by HR and having to send in two different ones.

I do have a boutique internship this summer but aside from clubs, that's about it. Would appreciate some advice.

Just write combined GPA: X (School GPA: Y) with school being your new school. I transferred from a community college, it worked out fine for me. Plus, after 1 semester you go into internship recruiting, at which point your GPA becomes less and less relevant.

I transferred from one state school to another spring semester of my sophomore year. You’ll be fine just have a good story
