Adivce needed: Latering into BB's ABS group/HF

I'm looking for some advice related to lateraling into a BB and also the structured credit hf industry.

Background:

I'm currently an analyst doing trade receivables ABS. What's the process like for latering into a BB's ABS group (doing trade receivables or MBS/CLO/etc...)? I'm particularly looking for more detailed advice like when the recruiting process is, how to get in contact with the BB's, etc...

I'm also interested in potentially going the hf route in structured credit. Could someone with experience in this field provide some information on how to break into this industry and what specific skillsets are desired- is a background securitizing trade receivables sought after, or do they primarily focus on the MBS/CLO type securitizations.

I appreciate the input.
