Admitting mistake
A very senior person at a top firm asked me for my cv and cover letter to forward to hr for some experience.
In the cover letter which I wrote in the main body of the email, I wrote ..."this highlights my detail to attention.."
Shall I admit it to him and apologize and say something like that was the previous version of the cover letter?
