Don’t get me started on the shitty M&A franchise and the low attitude for your first year ANL. Just terrible. It is us in coverage doing the business development so that you kids can live.
Coverage, too busy and burned out to recruit properly. Not dire enough to quit without something lined up yet, but I might soon if things don’t get better. Think I’m just going to check out and phone it in until next year.

I can’t believe what David Miller is saying in the town hall yesterday. If what he said about the ranking is true, then the comp should not be less than 50% of what our peers are paying their juniors. What Michael Klein said is encouraging but who knows if this is another year of bullshitting to wave us away. To break even on this year’s loss in pay, they need to pay ASO more than 100% of base, which is very hard considering the quality of MD remaining. Even the audience is now asking the harder question about the low pay. This freaking Swiss bank will sink, 100%.
