Agentis Capital CONTROVERSY

I heard that a director was laid off because he was verbally abusing his juniors. Thinking about it, the tolerance for abuse is already pretty high in IB, so he must have been really going in.

Does anyone else have any info on this?

Current Analyst here — ignore title.

I’ll give you the rundown on what to expect:

You’ll get tremendous experience: great facetime with seniors, modelling experience as an intern, and lots of deal flow. As a result you’ll also be comped above street.

On the flip side, if you are not a true top bucket analyst, you will not last. The team is lean and you’re expected to hit the ground running. You should be able to model without touching your keyboard as baseline expectation.

The culture is stiff. Juniors are weird/odd, and seniors are cut throat. Won’t say any names or confirm/deny this rumour.

Hope this helps.
