AI intern projects

Interning at a bank and they've asked for an intern project on AI and how it can be used within the bank

I suck at AI so I would love to hear thoughts

I'm in coverage, if helps

AI gives out too much waffle in terms of ideas and it's the same stuff over and over again

Well...

If a bank is asking an intern this they're probably not super sophisticated so your threshold for providing value probably is quite low.

Go and learn about what AI can do, in very broad terms.

Then observe what people are doing right now that they don't like doing. What takes time but feels very inefficient and tedious. Then ask AI whether AI could feasible do that thing and the limits around it. Then also of course (and this is important), think through limitations yourself. And then test.

Then think, what don't people have time to do which they want to do. Then follow the same process as above.

And so on and so forth.

My best advice is become really lazy because laziness drives innovation.
