Aligning multiple offers

I am currently working for Barclays as an Associate.

I just got an offer from MS as a VP with decent comp increase. I need to let them know whether I accept the offer or not.

In the meantime, I recently interviewed with Carlyle. I am told that I am a finalist and I should hear from them soon (haven't heard back yet).

Is there a way to politely elicit a feedback from Carlyle? Do I just tell them that I have another offer? Do I need to mention that it is MS?

TIA

How did you make it all the way to VP without going through the process of accelerating offers with other offers? I've only gone through a couple recruiting cycles but every time the interviewer asks what my timeline is and if I have other offers and then they will ask where they are from. In this case I think it would be pretty reasonable to email Carlyle letting them know you are on a deadline due to other offer deadlines.
