Am I Dinged?

I had a first-round interview last Friday for a SA role at a BB. I spoke with an analyst and an associate. I thought my conversation with the analyst went fine, and my conversation with the associate went great - we spoke for almost an hour (call was supposed to last for 30 mins). The associate told me that HR would get back to me regarding next steps at the end of the call - although he did not specify the timeframe.

6 days have passed and I have not hear anything from HR. I sent an email to my HR recruiter on Monday which thanked her for organizing the interview and asked when I could expect to hear back. No response. She took a few days to respond to my initial email, which provided her with my times of availability to schedule the first-round interview. It may be possible that she just sucks at responding at a timely manner.

I am not sure why I have not heard back yet. I thought the interview went well and I answered nearly all the technicals correctly. Has anyone had a similar experience?

yep, unfortunately you just gotta be patient. most you can do is reach out one more time to HR, or if really concerned, reach out to one of your interviewers. sometimes they are just interviewing tons of candidates and have yet to make the final list for SDs (this happened to me for a couple superdays i received, waited for awhile and then reached out one more time and then got an update)

That's kinda banking recruiting process, just leave it there and go for interviews at other banks.

Try to manage a pipeline of interviews rather than letting one bothers you too much.

I thought I was dinged at 2nd round at a BB SA stint when I was junior, then after a couple of weeks of silence I got superday.

The process can be random at times, given Analyst/Associate feedback flow often got disrupted by their own busy workload, coupled with HR's poor coordination.
