Amusing Forum Biases

This forum has had its share of random ass opinions, ones I've noticed are that

  1. folks get wet about top boutiques
  2. everybody shows a lot of love to engineers and military folks (I'm on board here)
  3. going to UBS/Piper/BO/MO is a deathwish.

Any others I missed?

Ok, let me rephrase this!

I'm majoring in Mechanical Engineering at a top-tier Canadian University. Been applying to many banks/boutiques for trading since January... no offers, nada... I'm certainly not feeling the love haha!!

What do finance people like about engineers?
