Analyst and Associate Retention Bonus / Perks

I want to get ideas from the WSO community on what type of bonuses and or perks people would want to help them stay in IB.

I know Apollo gave a massive $200K bonus (with clawback), CS gave $20k and Jeffries gave out Pelotons.

A couple of ideas:

  • Cash bonus (10k-20k?)
  • Gift card for a 2-3k to buy fitness equipment etc.
  • Additional enforced vacation to be used this year (1-2 weeks)
  • RSU sweetener with a small vesting period at bonus time

I'm going to be in a meeting with senior bankers to come up with ideas around retention bonuses/gifts and I'd love to get people's feedback on what would make them happy.
