Analyst Non-Compete Agreement
Was wondering how enforceable an unpaid noncompete agreement is for analysts looking to lateral (a few months in length). I know I should get legal advice, but was wondering if anybody has had any experience with getting around this. Are they really enforced? How would my old firm even know where I was going if I kept quiet about it? Was anybody able to negotiate being paid by the new or old firm during the noncompete period? This is in a state where non-competes are legal.
