You don't even work in IB but are using the IB tag?

Anyhoos, right now pretty much every firm finished recruiting for full time. Sorry but you missed the boat months ago, it started in September.

That being said it is not too late to start networking for positions in the financial industry period. If I were you I would be more concerned about getting a job period instead of worrying about a job in IB.

Best of luck.

Thanks for the response. There has to be some firms especially boutiques still looking for analysts. Any insight..

boutiques have less structured recruiting cycles so yes, some will still be recruiting trhough the year. I suggest you read our FAQs, specifically the Get a Job section which answers a lot of these types of questions.

Good luck! Patrick

Umm...yeah no not really :(.

karyptoThread is done. Period.

Both of you clueless smartasses can be quiet, thanks.

I know it is really late in the game but things did not work out earlier. If you know of any firms as of now still looking it would be much appreciated.

In London, the game is far from over. I had invitations from almost all BBs and boutiques for interviews in the past two weeks or in the following weeks. Most of the answers here are too US-focused. London Full Time hiring is in full swing.

Personally I'm still in the process with a handful of firms for FT positions.. that being said it's either on the cusp of the super day or post super day and waiting for replies. However, there's a shit ton of boutiques that hire more on a rolling basis based off of need as opposed to having a structured process. Keep your head up and keep sending out feelers.
