Really want to live in TX (close to home) but not the hugestttt fan of o g and e…. are there any offices that aren’t out there?

Career Resources
There are a handful of PE funds that aren’t energy. Don’t know of any banks. More non-energy funds in Dallas, but again very limited banking there. Houston bankers don’t have a tough time getting generalist roles in TX though (other than say Vista in Austin)
Houston is all energy AFAIK
dallas has JPM consumer (literally 1 analyst per year?)
HL has consumer / RX / healthcare in Dallas
not much else non energy IB in Texas
