Anyone else get screwed by LDN 21 SA?
I know it’s not quite over get, but let’s be real it is nearly December. I will be honest, some of my friends have very strong profiles (target uni, previous IB experience, strong ECs etc.), and have not had any first round interviews (even at not so great firms).
It seems as if a lot of spots are going to spring week retards, others to women and other diversity hires (no offence intended), and others to 30 year old Europeans.

It seems that banks don’t care that much about prior IB experience. Interviews are more behavioural than technical tok
I agree that’s such a bad trend, people who worked hard to get experience don’t have any hedge
I've seen this happen too. What are the HR people even looking for these days
This year has been very rough. Probably due to reduced spots in SA/OC there was less space for non-diversity, no referral candidates and this is the result
