anyone find it hilarious

Anyone else find it hysterical when you see certified users on the forum who are VPs and MDs cracking jokes? As a college kid, I have this image in my mind that someone who is 30/35/40 has to maintain a level of professionalism at all times ... then you see they post comments on here that are funny af and that I would say to my friends lmao

Mid 30s with 2 kids and a group friends chat that still looks like it did when I was 17. We talk about this all the time. I think we were all viewing "grown-ups" through the lens of the child/parent relationship, and only saw the one "parental side" of the 30s/40s/50-year olds that they chose to present. My street is full of parents in their 30s and 40s who put their kids to bed with prayers at 8pm and then meet in the cul-de-sac to drink whiskey until 1am every weekend.

Reminds me of the horrifying realization that I had when I realized I know the girls who will become teachers that little kids look up to.
