Don’t want to share too much publicly. Simply, the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Tried something new and didnt like it.
My strengths and personality are best utilized on the sell-side. I enjoy IB mostly, and think it’s where I have highest EV comp-wise in the long-run.
In a similar boat. Did IB then CorpDev, but now trying to go back. I hate the work—it's boring, repetitive, and mind-numbing. I miss the deal work. But I can't leave for another year; I've only been in the role for a few months, so I at least need to finish out the year.
