Anyone think Stephens Investment Bank is Underrated for Middle Market?

Anyone familiar with Stephens Investment Bank? Seems like they do a lot of deals in the middle market but perhaps seem underrated compared to other places?

They’re a middle market based predominantly in the south which is likely why many would be less familiar with this firm. Historically they’ve done smaller deals and often more follow-on capital markets transactions but in recent times have started doing more and larger M&A deals.

They’re probably on par with cantor / truist but can give better deal experience for your resume. Hours are reasonable, 55-65 hours / week as an analyst. Decent shop to start and great place to join to lateral to a better group after a year or two
