Anything wrong with Energy?

From previous discussions, many of you have said that TMT, Healthcare, Retail are good groups. I noticed that no one said anything about energy. I also noticed that people that do go into energy go in there because they want to work in Houston.

I was just wondering if any of you guys think it's a good group to be in? Is it b/c there are not a lot of M&A in energy?

I also working in Energy, and Monty is correct.

Energy can be a broad term, it can include Power - Conventional and Renewable
Oil and Gas - Midstream & Upstream

Renewable is seeing a lot of advisory work due to state RPS, also based on the B.S. deals out there I expect to see a lot of distressed sales and M&A coming soon.

Gas M&A is a little weak due to sub $3 gas. Although the "experts" are forecasting $4+ within 6 months (right!). Generally weak gas = equity financing.

Monty how is business these days? What part of energy is your focus?
