Yup.

July & December are generally the busiest months IMO - both because decision makers want to get things done before Fiscal Year End/Holidays or August, when things slow to a crawl. July is arguably worse for juniors because all the 2nd year analysts have departed for gardening leave, so you have 1 year experience Analysts getting JAMMED with all the hard stuff and interns/newbies taking on normal-way stuff. Everything takes 50% longer at least and you can't, as either a newly 2nd year analyst or associate, count on anyone at all. Mix in my fellow MBAs just joining the desk (no hate, I was a duckling once too)  who still think that their corp fin class actually matters and sends the intern on a goosechase and it's a fucking recipe for disaster.

It's actually hilariously similar - in a way less world-impacting way - as why you NEVER want to get injured on 4th of July weekend, because that's when all the recent med school grads start at their hospitals.
