LAST week of my BB internship and I have been told that I will receive a full-time offer. In the back of my mind, I plan on leveraging this offer to transition into another BB (GS, MS, JPM, DB). Is this a good idea with the markets being the way they are right now? Is anyone doing accelerated interviews at this point?

You should probably take whatever you can get at this point in time, but that doesn't mean you can't fish for other opportunities in the mean time.
Out of interest why would you want to swap any BB to another (unless it's BoA....). Bad group? To be honest, the way things are at the moment I'd bite their hand off and lateral in a better recruitment time if you still want to.
GS, MS, JPM...DB? That's random lol. Anyway, most are not really hiring right now. I don't think DB ever did accelerated interviews, and GS, MS and JPM are all cutting back on hiring. If your group is THAT bad, try to talk to HR to switch groups.
So banks won't be doing F.T recruting next month? If so I'm so fucked..
They will be hiring. Not heavily. Probably only to replace the kids who say "No" to offers, which likely won't be as many this year as it is going to be hard to switch banks. Realistically, the people they hire will be either 1. from targets 2. people who have a very strong connection with a senior person, like alma mater...which would probably be someone from a target...or if they have a family member / friend that can get them in the door.
It's looking like a rough year.
Most of what ive heard is that FT recruiting will only be to fulfill very specific holes.
They'll be hiring but it will definitely be a shitty shitty round of recruitment.
What about for SA internships? Will that recruiting be just as bad?

Uhm....each bank has a certain number of hires to meet leaving analyst and other needs so everyone is going to hire regardless of where the market is at..maybe its not going to be 150 analyst or anything liek that but they will still hire
they have SA for these purposes...
