Asked to do additional 15 minute zoom interview after final round interviews were completed?
I recently just completed some final round interviews and was asked to do an additional 15 minute zoom interview in about a week. Is this a good sign and how should I prepare?
It means the team was split on you, but is giving you one more shot to make it. I’ve had to give these interviews once or twice.
Generally, they’re going to ask you about other processes you’re in, your current reasons for joining the bank, and you may get a reasonably difficult technical (e.g. - “the company stop buying $10m in equipment each year for the next 5 years. Walk me through how this impacts the three statements as we do a reforecast”)
what is the answer to the technical?
It’s just 10 million in less capex a year, which translates to less depreciation on income statement, less cash flow for investments in cash flow statement
Would everyone be on this final 15 minute zoom? Or only those that didn't like you/vouch for you? Or would it be a mix of those that liked/disliked you?
Usually just a decision maker (VP, MD) who will then report their thoughts back to everyone else.
Just gonna be an MD who's interviewing me
