Asset Backed Securities
Hey everyone,
For an ABS deal (airlines in particular), I was wondering how exactly the borrowing company transfers its leased aircraft asset to the originator (bank). Do they actually give up rights to the aircraft and future cash flows from the lease? If not, how are the principal/interest payments to the investors funded through the SPV?
Thanks!
