Associate Base Increase
How often does the street increase base pay? how long ago did the banks increase to $150k A1? when can one expect for associate base salaries to increase?

Not for a very long time (yes I know some EBs pay higher already)
Starting in 2018 Morgan Stanley raised the base salary for associates from 125k to 150k. All BBs and most other banks followed.
I wouldn’t expect an increase for a while. Maybe 2025. Bonus would increase first.
That's actually a massive bump, considering then the firm has to bump up the base for all the AS2, AS3, and maybe even some VPs as well.
Or does base salary stay the same for the associate years?
