Atlanta Investment Banks

Wondering if anyone has any insight on some of the middle market banks and their Atlanta offices. Specifically looking to hear about Guggenheim, William Blair, Stephens, and Houlihan Lokey in Atlanta. Any information would be appreciated.

Stephens - fig and consumer (serving Roark essentially I believe). Good laterals over the years to BB’s mostly in banks and depositors. Decent culture it seems but very sweaty. Good exits for Atlanta standards

Houlihan Lokey and William Blair are all in the same office. HL no clue what they do, but it seems sweaty.

Blair mostly has tech/fintech deals cross staffed with Chicago and SF. Genuine people in this office and are indeed chillers despite the past 3 years

Guggenheim is a bit further out but it’s essentially an MD who wanted to open an office there so he did. Cross staffed with the MM PEAG group in Chicago focused on tech enabled service companies. Chillers but looks for a specific type of person

Barclays has a consumer team here as well servicing Roark too (I believe)? Hired 2 juniors the last few years otherwise no clue what they do

Raymond James has an office doing mostly tech and healthcare deals. Seems sweaty with decent/bad culture. Would avoid if you can

Truist sits hear but honestly no clue what they do all day while still getting paid top dollar. STRH merger has been a disaster, but if it works for the mid levels it works. Levfin is decent here

Boutiques are VRA, Genesis Capital, YM Capital, Brookwood Associates, and Carousel (haven’t seen them on a deal yet). Anything not mentioned are irrelevant or I missed them
