Autism affecting my internship conversions

This is a tricky one

I interned in IBD (coverage) and no matter what I do I just can't get a return offer

I hate my life genuinely to a point where I can't stand being a failure for being born with something like autism

I try so hard to make relationships but because I can't read emotions or non literal language, I never get the return

I'm now on my third internship and I am so lost I can't begin to describe how shit this feels

I would honestly love to hear from other people in the same boat what they think
