What are the odds that industries like IB/HF/PE are automated in the future? What do you guys think the predicted job market will be for careers in the high finance industry?
You cannot stop people from doing God's work. Maybe automation will allow for leaner teams, but you never get rid of the human element.
Have you ever worked in IB? If you did you would know that this job just cant get automated to the point that would make analysts/associates obsolete.
As above mentioned, definitely leaner teams would be possible (which would be a good thing)but at least in the next 5 years I don’t see any huge disruption.
