Automation

Hey everyone, I have been learning VBA and python and have been able to automate a lot of excel tasks! These tasks are very specific and repetitive for some side stuff I work on. However I’d really like to make some programs to help reduce valuation times. Any ideas on what tasks I should automate?

Honestly, I don’t trust VBA for anything math related. Let me rephrase this, I don’t trust my VBA skills for messing around with formulas and values to the point where I’d confidently use it for important models. VBA is far more helpful for formatting stuff (making sure that all numbers and headers are aligned, hardcoded cells and inputs are the right color etc)

I haven’t run into huge problems with that yet. I could always have python do the math and then place the numbers where it needs to be. However that sounds way more complex. I’ll have to play around with it more!
