Avoid SVB Leerink

Absolutely avoid this place. I work here and it sucks. We are on the bottom of all the league tables and zero exit ops. Also all the recruiters when I get on the phone (for lateraling) recommend banks such as Stifel as good comparables

OP definitely does not work at SVBL. If they actually worked at SVBL then they’d post this as a verified employee anonymously (ex. “Works at SVB Leerink”). OP is most probably still butthurt that they didn’t get an interview from SVBL

What’s the general profile of juniors lateraling to SVB? Do people actually people aim for them or to use them as interview practice/offer as leverage for other solid shops

A recruiter randomly reached out and my initial take was TMT banking for a German washing machine appliances company based on their name. It is very peculiar sounding, like that try hard oddball in school who wears his shirt all buttoned up
