Babson vs NYU (Non Stern)
Basically what the title says. I have been admitted to Babson as a finance major and admitted to NYU in the school of profesional studies for their real estate major. I want to work in NYC IB post grad. I was admitted to nyu as a spring start and I don’t exactly love the no campus feel. Those two are drawbacks as opposed to Babson where I actually quite like the campus. If I go to nyu I would realistically transfer into being an Econ major as stern transfers are near impossible. So ultimately where will I have a better shot for recruiting, NYU Econ or Babson finance? If the difference is marginal I’m inclined to choose Babson because I like it more.
If u work hard and are made of the right stuff u can get a job in IB from either school/situation. Babson and NYU non-stern both send plenty of kids into IB (or other finance jobs as you might change your mind).
Make your decision based on the school you would have a better 4 years at. Or money if that’s a big factor.
