Anyone has any idea on how long the background check process take for a lateral hire? Have heard different things but the background check firm seems quite sketchy.

Investment Banking Career Roadmap (optional)

“Harshit kindly took the time to tell me more about the tech industry ahead of an interview with a boutique. He gave me a very comprehensive rundown of the verticals, their metrics and so on. A very professional, friendly and knowledgeable mentor - highly reccomend. Previously he helped me with my CV which I have been using (and modifying) ever since. ”

Investment Banking Mock Interview

“Felix Herbert Fricke was very knowledgeable and kind. He gave me thoughtful, constructive feedback on my presentation, highlighting what worked well and where I could sharpen my message. He also shared valuable insights into Moelis, including how the firm operates and what sets it apart. I especially appreciated how upfront he was about the lifestyle and working culture, which helped me set realistic expectations and think carefully about my own fit. Overall, it was a genuinely helpful conversation, and I left with practical takeaways.”
