Background check/disciplinary file
During a background check, do they check for your university disciplinary file? This is a file for events that do not show up on transcript. Plz help.

Depending on the university, they'll annotate your transcript if the disciplinary panel put you on probation, etc. So the answer varies firm by firm.
My school, in my case, will not annotate my transcript for the event. It is only on my disciplinary file. Does this change your answer at all?
