Background checks - how many years 7 or 10?

How long back do I-banks check work history? 7 years or 10 years?
I worked for a no name start up back in the day that no longer exists. I also have no paper work to back me on this. But it was more than 7 years ago now.
Really want this job. Any views?
Any thoughts gutys? My money obsessed wife will beat me if I don't get this gig. Is it 7 or 10 years for the Background Check??
If an issue comes up they’ll probably ask you about it at which point just have someone be a reference from that time and vouch for you
I was really hoping for a juicier story of what you did 8 years ago.
It was a more hopeful world back then. We could walk around freely without the Corona Virus.
