This is true for most. I also have contacts with [email protected]. Also keep in mind that BofA typically uses your formal name, so John Smith would likely be [email protected].

CapK that's accurate... first.m.last is typically for duplicate names like a michael smith or any other very common name likely to have multiple employees tied to it... in some random circumstances you may see "firstlast@baml.com" and with HR employees you'll run into "@bankofamerica.com"

I would presume that a lot of this has to do with legacy BofA email's that had not changed.... but again to reiterate the [email protected] would be your best bet for bankers certainly... I would bet on "@bankofamerica.com" if corresponding with recruiters...

that's my .02 given what I saw when going through recruiting season...
