is there free parking for IB analysts at the bank of America tower (houston office)? If not, does anyone know how much it is? Trying to figure out if I should just be ubering to work everyday or taking the public transport. My commute is around a 10 minute drive, 25-minute public transport

I haven’t heard of any free parking. Most people who commute daily buy monthly passes at garages for line ~100 a month.
If your internship is hybrid or BofA covers Ubers back after a certain hour I would just try to use public transportation.
25 minute public transport? You taking a bus to your IB job In houston somehow?
Ubering is more expensive than the parking pass. If you don’t have a car you might come out ahead vs. insurance and new car costs.
Yeah there’s actually some buses that go directly to the workplace but I’m just not sure if it’s worth taking a 25 minute bus ride everyday versus shelling out for a parking pass. I do have a car but was just a bit worried about the pass price of a downtown parking garage

Public transport in Houston is shitty and ghetto.
Wouldn’t call it ghetto (you prob saw one homeless person on one and assumed)
They have metro busses everywhere and if you live by the rail that is an easy 10-15 non-stop train ride to downtown for free( they never check for a pass)
The problem with houston is just the volume of people that commute as well as the population. Traffic becomes a nightmare so throw busses into that equation and that’s why they tend to take longer

I’ve literally never met any urban professional type who takes public transport in Houston. It’s entirely poor ghetto people
