Thank you. I did some general inquires. I figured asking people who work in the sector here would be better.
IMHO books will not give you the skills. Yes, I learnt how to do a DCF by the book before my interviews, but it was not before i had to do an actual DCF for a conversation my MD was to have that I did really learn how to do one.
Best book for me: Investment banking by Rosenbaum and Pearl. Best Course: Wall Street Prep - was the only one I did. I think, apart from the technicals, the best skill you can have in this job is to be i) proactive, ii) enjoyed by any deal/pitch you are staffed in and iii) always try to stay one step ahead of what you are going to be asked
