I have been reading a lot about how the investment banks are going down and tech as a sector is climbing up. The salaries of banking professionals have dropped a massive 80% since GFC. My friends at tech are making 4 times the money that I make in Deutsche Bank as a finance professional. I am trying to figure out if the low pay I get is the reality of banking or am I suffering from back office curse?
