It's a bit late for layoffs.

Market is picking up now and will get better over the next 6 months. Banks cutting juniors this late will see a staffing crunch in Q1/Q2 next year.

Well a lot of people think the recession is set to begin over the next 6 months lol

This is somewhat Naive. 

In the hope that your post is you not being a childish troll - the market doesn't stop for too long.

Funds still need to deploy dry powder and exit portcos and the PE market is picking up. Equally on the corporate side we are seeing more opportunistic transactions And divestment of non core assets into PE.

There are a large number of funds that raised post covid and due to 2022 haven't deployed anywhere near the rate or quantum they need to.

Sure it's not 2021 but it's recovering.
