BB coaching offers = SCAMS

Hi !

I am looking for a spring in IB. So I send thousands of cold messages on Linkedin to network. And very few people answered... But 80% of those who answered wanted to sell me coaching with very convincing arguments:
"
I am an associate at JPM, so I can explain to you exactly what you need to know"
"My 5 students last year received a summer internship in GS equity research  and three of them declined the offer because they had better offers" (from a guy who works in equity research at GS)
"At Citi we enjoy candidates that are very well-prepared, and I can prepare you for 1k€ a month"
"If I see during the coaching that you are very good I can forward your application"

I can tell you how proud I was when I so 4 BB associate send me an invitation on Linkedin, but they all cold message me "hi !  Do you want coaching ? "
While the banks do everything to recruit quotas, the associates make heterosexual males pay to forward their applications...

What is your opinion on these methods? Why do banks accept these methods? Is that a scam?

I honestly don't care what is good or bad, I just want to go in IB, so should I put 2k€ on this coaching to have a spring in BB?
