BB Firms' Outlook of 2020

Hi all,

Back in 2019, I had a lot of interviews with BB firms. During my recruiting process, I posed some questions to see where the firms' opinions were on the economy for 2020.

I still remember vividly of a particular BB firm of when I presented some facts and trends of possible recession in 2020. They completely dismissed me and even made me feel very small. Was a tough crowd to even impress or please... now that BB firm is basically about to cancel internships and froze hiring.

Vs another BB that had a looming thought about 2020 and even laid off quite a bit of workers in 2019 Vs other BB firms that were pretty uncertain and gave mixed feedback, but were receptive of a possible recession

I'm definitely curious to see when and how that BB firms' tone has changed so much

So, I have 2 questions: 1. If you're working at any of the BB firms now, how has things changed there? When did the tone regarding the economy change? 2. What were your experiences interviewing for firms that thought different from you about the nature of the economy in 2020?

Looking forward to hearing your responses!
