How much do you typically make as a SA in a BB IB coverage group w/ overtime at around $62.
I feel like it wouldn’t be hard to hit over $40k pre-tax, but a lot of other posts suggests otherwise. Anyone who has completed SA in LA/SF can speak light to this?

Confused about logging OT for a CA BB (not wells). Says OT id included in the offer but is it frowned upon to actually log those hours? Like the banker 12 hour day is the norm are they actually expecting me to log those extra hours or does it look bad? Bloody hell it’s anonymous anyway so I’m talking about GS specifically
I'm guessing they mean it's frowned upon to make the interns work over 40/hrs a week. Im at another firm in California and my offer letter said the same thing. I think they just want to make it seem like they care about intern's well being
I was at an EB and regularly logged over 80 hours and got paid for it
As long as you aren't just sitting around for extra hours at night for extra cash, log your hours. I know some MM banks check with your direct manager if an intern has logged more than 60 hours in a week.
