BB IB to VC or Corp VC, thoughts?

Currently have offers from 2 VCs and 1 Corp VC.

Wanted to gather perspective on thoughts of going to Corp VC (intel capital, comcast ventures etc.) vs. a VC (1-2Bn in AUM) that is good/known in their sector but not a household name like A16z.

Also what are the exit opps for VC / CVC?

CorpDev or VC forever?

Thinking of doing an MBA in the years coming, so would want to know if a reputable CVC would be more valuable than a VC that is not so well-recognized by the general crowd.

I think there’s really only a handful of corporate arms that have significant pull to win allocation in deals. They usually sit in a powerful position within their sector (ie Snowflake in data or Salesforce in SaaS). So I would first consider that.

I’d generally say institutional is a better place if you want to be involved with these businesses (take board seats, etc) and the economics are more compelling at higher levels.
