BB Waitlist - IB Summer Analyst
I got notified that I was waitlisted at a BB (BofA/CS/Barclays) after I had a superday for IB. How common is getting waitlisted at one of these firms and does anyone have any info about how many people usually receive offers after getting waitlisted - is it 3,5,10? I imagine it's a very low number. And do you think it would be worth emailing my interviewers to express further interest?
Thanks!
Can't speak to numbers but I was waitlisted (twice!) for SA at BBs. It's worth a shot emailing them to reiterate your interest but it's probably best to move on and attack the next interviews with all you've got. Took me a few weeks to hear back that I was rejected :/ good luck, sorry you don't have closure yet. Fingers crossed it works out for you
Not worth it, all you can do is wait. I was in a similar position and you just have to trust the process and wait. Maybe check in with HR if you don’t hear in 2 weeks
