Bb/eb WFH policy (may 2022)
Wondering now what each firms require for in office/at home. Know that they are pushing for back to office, but was wondering if 3/2 for 3 in office 2 virtual, or another grouping was doable. Feel free to state size/type of firm you work in.
Out of all these years of BS "ranking" threads and anecdotal insights into hours and "culture," it's funny because now we have an actual tangible metric to judge a bank's "culture" off of. Any bank or group pushing for more than 3 days is going to bleed imo.
LAZ is 3 days in the office/ 2 days WFH permanently. GHL/ GS HOU is 5 days in the office.
LAZ also has one month per year work from anywhere with WiFi
PWP 3/2 except for RX (5 days in)
Why is that
Probably because they work longer hours and seem sweatier
Do you know if 3/2 extends to TPH in Houston?
No idea
4/1
How's CS?
4/1 in my group
Is this true of most groups?
Anyone know about MS?
bumpity bumpy
EVR at 4 days permanently as of june
Currently 3/2 these days
JPM? Guessing 5 lol
Overlord Jamie aka fortress balance sheet be installing desk attendance tracker
Depends on the team, some are veryyyy flexible and some are not
Are there written/unwritten rules about needing to be home (primary residence) during your 2 WFH days? Or are bankers using these days to plan mini weekend trips for a change of scenery
Gugg firm policy is 4 days in, but some groups come in less (3).
Anyone knows about Barclays?
Group dependent fs but most of the major coverage group I know are 3 days in office 2 days WFH
3 days in. Some groups people don’t enforce this at all though. Certain people who haven’t been in the office in months, others who still come in 4/5 days a week.
From what I’ve heard (all NY):
PJT: 5
EVR: 4
CVP: 5
GS: 5
MS: 5
JPM: 5
People can confirm or deny since im not 100% sure on all of them
My group at MS is 4
Do you all leave the office after a certain time? And how does that affect dinner stipend?
Thank you so much for the info! Does anyone know about JPM regional offices (ie. HOU and CHI)? I'm really curious to see if it differs from NY.
PJT is 3
PJT is 4 in M&A
EVR M&A is 3 at the moment
Also, another point to discuss in the COVID/ post-COVID environment - during days in the office are analysts staying until midnight/ late nights, or do juniors now have flexibility to leave the office in the evenings and log-in at home.
In the office around 10. Leave around 5/6PM. Latest I’ve been in the office is around midnight for printing books.
At a Bay Area BB and no one is in the office past 5
Earliest I leave is 9pm when I can expense the cab back. Typically leave around 11pm. Have done a few 4ams and all nighters at the office though. Most people are out by 9am.
UBS?
BofA?

SVB: 3/2 (Tuesday - Thursday)
